Laboratory Rats

Our lab Rat colony is our staple feeder colony for our own collection. We use rats over mice whenever possible. The animals tend to grow faster, gain weight faster, and produce better clutches on rats versus a mouse diet. We also have a group of rats we have been selectively breeding for pets. We carry Rex and Dumbo traits in a variety of color and pattern Combinations.

Pinks up to 15 grams $0.75

Fuzzies 16-30 grams $1.00

Pups 31- 45 grams $1.50

Weanlings 46 to 75 grams $2.00

Small 76-124 grams $2.50

Medium 125-200 grams $3.00

Large 201-275 grams $3.50

Rodent Price list

Rodents are available for pickup or delivery. A small delivery fee of $1.00 per mile will be added to the order total. All frozen orders must be placed in advance and you will be notified when your order is ready for pick up. Fozen orders may have a waiting peiriod of up to 30 days. Payment is due at the time of delivery cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover are excepted.

Rodents Prices

African Soft Fur Rats

We are breeding African soft fur rats in small numbers over the next few months we will be growing our colony. These small rodents make very interesting pets ,and are great feeders as well. They have become quite popular with ball python keepers. Pinkies are not much larger than mouse pinks and adults are about twice the size of adult mice. We are currently using the pinks instead of mouse pinks on our king hatchlings. These rats do hold a higher price than most feeders do to their slower reproductive rate and their slower growth rate when compared to lab rodents.
